Job Summary

Critical Access Hospital supporting safe medication management, sterile compounding, drug distribution and record keeping. Hospital experience preferred.
Availability to work Mon-Fri 07:30 am - 4 pm as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Successful completion of an approved Pharmacy Technician training course is preferred. Successful completion of Pharmacy Service Line competencies within 6 months of hire

Experience:
Previous pharmacy work experience is preferred. One year of pharmacy experience required for Registrar I.

Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Registration with the Virginia Department of Health Professionals required. Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification is required within 9 months of hire.
Other Minimum
Qualifications:
Must be able to maintain familiarity with a large number (1000-2000) of medications and focused on attention to detail/accuracy. Must be customer service oriented. Requires knowledge and use of general office equipment and procedures, including computer/keyboard. Must be able to solve simple mathematical and logistical problems in the work environment. Must be able to effectively budget time, work efficiently and accurately, and follow procedures with minimum supervision. All Technicians must complete Orientation Competencies.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
